Going into the Twilight

In November 2008, I've met with a friend of mine and she told me about this new saga that is Twilight. She got me interested when she said that it's not your normal Vampire story! Not even close... She said that it's a love story... So I was like "what?! " She said "read it and you'll love it!" She even told me that she'll pay for the book if I don't like it. That got me interested!! Hahaha!
I looked for the book everywhere and it's all sold out! The last book, Breaking Dawn was available along with Eclipse but I can't start from there!!! Then I found this Twilight Saga Hardbound Boxed Set but it was already reserved and I was so disappointed. I even begged the saleslady to sell it to me! But she said she can't because the owner was going to pick it up in 30 min. I told the saleslady to text me when they have an available boxed set.
After 15 min, they texted me that there was a delivery of four boxed sets and some paperbacks!
I was so excited!!! In short, I got my books last November and I didn't get to read it sooner, I only started it this month ( 2 Dec 08) to be exact! I just started reading Twilight when I watched the movie and I was so drawn to it!!! I never thought that it was so addicting!
I've read all four books in less than a week! And I'm reading it again! Plus I've watched the movie 4 times! And I can't get enough of it! Though there are parts that should be perfected.. anyway, that's another story! In short, I am a Twilight Fanatic as of this moment!

Why Twilight is such a Hit?

Why is it that Twilight is such a hit?!

I guess it's because of the unusual Love story... If you dig deeper, it's creepy! But that's the exciting part of it! Most of all it's because most of the girls wanted that knight in shining armor! In this case with a twist! A modern Vampire with a conscience! Isn't that interesting?!

Actually Edward Cullen is not your perfect hero, not perfect at all! He's a predator and every person will go gaga over the vampires because that is their way of luring their prey. They have to drink you know! But he's most perfect to all the female species, simply because he tries his best to be perfect to Bella. As he said to her She's his life now!

Better Late than Never!

I'm not the type of person who goes gaga over "what's in" or "what's the latest thing" right now in the planet. If I like something, that would be because I really like it not because all of the populace wants it! This year it was different... Twilight made that difference!

At first, when I've heard of it I was skeptical coz I thought, "what the fuzz is all about?" Well people talk and I've heard bits and pieces about the movie first then the book. Weird! coz I think it's supposed to be book first then movie! Anyway, when they told me that it was about Vampires... that burst the bubble! I don't like vampire movies! With the exception of BLADE by the way! It's way too cool for me to miss! So I have never thought that I would like it anyway, plus at that time I was still beginning to love Harry Potter. Haha! I know! I'm such a late bloomer! So I was busy and super excited because Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince will be shown supposed to be on 21 November 2008. Well what do you know? It was postponed at a later date.. July 2009 and replacing that is Twilight....
